Od Zeme je vzdialen\u00e1 pribli\u017ene 2300 sveteln\u00fdch rokov. Hviezdokopa je pomerne jasn\u00e1 a ke\u010f\u017ee sa nach\u00e1dza v s\u00fahvezd\u00ed Ve\u013ek\u00fd pes, tak je peknou ozdobou zimnej oblohy na severnej pologuli. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
